The mind has a way of tricking us into thinking things are a certain way, even if they are not. Serve your meals on smaller plates; it does make a difference. For example, I know my husband needs to eat a significant amount of calories more than I do each day as he weighs 100lbs more than I do. At dinner, I place his food on a bigger plate than on my own. I use a smaller plate, hence, I eat less in portions. Don’t “biggie” size anything. Ever. I don’t care if it only costs an additional ten cents, stop the madness!
