Most of us do a countdown until the weekend, which usually starts on Monday morning. Weekends provide the opportunity for some social time with friends and family, staying up late, and sleeping in. Still, the habits an individual makes on the weekend, does not help come Monday morning when you have to revert back to your weekly schedule.
There is hope, and it comes in the form of keeping your internal body clock set at all times, so it does not completely fall off key when the new work week begins. Here’s a top five list:
Unfortunately offices with artificial lighting can mess with an individual’s internal clock; making one think it is later than it actually is. That is why it is imperative to expose yourself to as much natural light during the day, as possible. Go for a walk during your lunch, or even sitting by a window periodically during the day can help.
