As we mentioned earlier, the brain can be viewed as the boss of our body; for whether we are conscious of it or not, it controls everything. For example, the motor cortex of the brain is what initiates and controls muscle movement within our bodies.
“The right motor cortex controls the left side of your body and the left motor cortex controls the right side of your body,” says Dr. Chen. “If there are tumors anywhere along this pathway, these signals are completely disrupted and the result is a loss of function.”
It is important to note that the presence of a brain tumor does not mean that there will be a presence of pain in your limbs. In fact, the most common characteristic is noticing one of your limbs is weak, not responding the way you want it to; if at all.
