Many times if we look good we feel good, it’s a fact of life. The catch twenty-two of depression means we just do not have the oomph to care all that much. When the days are often filled with a seemingly endless supply of negative feelings, looking your best, just is not on your mind. It is important to take steps to combat this, no matter how insignificant it may seem. So lose weight, get fit, get a fresh haircut, try a new style of clothing, etc. It will be one of the easier things to try and may have far reaching positive effects on your mood.
