Prescription acne medications have been known to totally combat acne for teenagers and some adults, but they often come with side effects.
You can't be in the sun for example, as you run the risk of burning your face. Horribly you can burn it. They can also often cause mood swings. Often once you are off the medication your acne may reappear for some cases, so it may be something you need to take until you hit over 40, but if it means clear skin, most are happy with that.
