Sugar also adds expanding notches to your belt, triggers diabetes, creates a glycemic rollercoaster and is corrosive to your central nervous system. Stevia on the other hand has no calories, has been recommended for diabetics and does not come with the warnings that artificial sweeteners like Aspartame do for cancer and other illnesses.
